Graphics Standards and Usage for GMCT Logo
It is GMCT’s intention to:
Provide clear and consistent usage of the Greater Morgantown Community Trust and GMCT name and trademark design for those who are raising monies to support GMCT component funds and for grantees who are required to acknowledge GMCT support.
To encourage usage of the logo to advertise the grantee agency or component fund’s relationship with GMCT and to manage the logo usage to promote the overall mission of GMCT as it relates to the individual funds and grantees.

Typefaces
The following typefaces are authorized for use in company signage
and business systems. In addition, they are recommended for use in
publications and other communications documents, whenever appropriate.
The Word Mark is a customized signature based on the typeface Gloucester Extra Condensed. These typefaces must never be substituted for the official Word mark, but may be used for allied materials such as signage. Other fonts authorized for use in company signage and business systems are Myriad Pro (complete family pack)
GMCT Logo and Tag Line Usage
The GMCT logo is a graphic depiction of a sun and “GMCT” initials. The words “Your Community Foundation” are centered under the GMCT initials. The typeface is Gloucester Extra Condensed The words must be in the same relationship to the GMCT initials and design as shown below. The size of the combined “Your Community Foundation” and GMCT mark may be increased or decreased as necessary, however the mark cannot be modified in any other way, e.g. cropping.

Web Site Usage
The GMCT color logo may be displayed on a web page per general usage guidelines. Unacceptable logo treatments include animation, shadowing, or colors outside of the approved design.
Advertising Guidelines (print and broadcast materials)
Usage Standards for Grantees and Fund Advisors
The name and contact information for GMCT may be added to print and broadcast materials produced by your organization. Grantees and fund advisors are encouraged to feature their relationship with GMCT in their own advertisements or press releases by adding the GMCT logo or phrases like the following:
[component fund name] at the Greater Morgantown Community Trust
[component fund name], a fund of the Greater Morgantown Community Trust
For Grantees, please recognize the grant as follows:
[Name of Grant, if named] received from [component fund name] at the Greater Morgantown Community Trust
If the phrase GMCT is used in place of the full name, it must be followed by the official tag line, “your community foundation”. This same tag line may also be used, but is not required, with the full community foundation name. It is, however, recommended that the tag line always be used in broadcast promotions to convey the fund or grantee’s collaboration with our local community foundation.
Usage standards for corporate and nonprofit partners
Corporations and nonprofit partners that provide funding for GMCT component fund activities may wish to feature their partnership with our community foundation in their own advertising. Corporate and nonprofit partners may use the logo and the following language in their own ads:
• [Partner organization name] is a proud partner of [component fund name, if designated] at The Greater Morgantown Community Trust, your community foundation.
• [Partner organization name] is proud to underwrite [component fund name, if designated] at The Greater Morgantown Community Trust, your community foundation.
The following language should not be used by corporate sponsors:
The Greater Morgantown Community Trust or [component fund name] is sponsored by [Partner organization name].
