Applications are only accepted from a non-profit organization tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or they must be a public institution. Grants are only valid for one year.
GMCT generally does not provide grants for an organization’s operational expenses, campaigns, endowments, political purposes, travel, or work training.The Grant Committee meets in the spring and fall. Applications must be postmarked by March 1 or September 1. Applications received after these dates are not accepted. All grant applications received are kept on file for one year.Recipients will receive an award letter. Should you not receive an award letter by mail, please assume that your request was not awarded a grant.

List of officers, board members and their titles, contact information.
Copy of IRS 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt designation letter (Government Agencies and public schools need not send this)
Annual financial report – audit preferred
Annual organization operating budget, showing income and expense
